More about Glycine:
This is a very rare vintage Glycine Airman SST “Pumpkin” watch in excellent condition. This watch dates from 1969-1971 and back then was the watch of choice for many airline pilots.
The “ SST “ was introduced and named for the forthcoming Boeing 2707 and Lockheed L2000, the denomination stands for SuperSonic Transport. The SST was ultimately not manufactured and cancelled in 1971 by the U.S Congress, a proposed design being engraved to the rear of the watch case.
