More about Gallet:

The Gallet MultiChron Calendar was introduced to the market in 1946 and featured both a chronograph and a calendar function that indicated the day, month, and date. The MultiChron Calendar did not sell as well, not because it was not sought-after, but because the retail price was too high for most consumers. Consequently, this model was produced in smaller numbers than the standard chronographs.

Vintage Gallet wristwatches have developed a following in today’s market for having quality movements, complications, and designs that are timeless.

The present watch features the classic combination of a gold case and silvered dial, but is further enhanced by the red numerals and arrow tip of the date ring and indicator, and will appeal to many. It belonged to an executive at Gallet USA and was hardly worn.
