Meylan Decimal Chronograph, Swiss, Anti-magnetic Ref. 813-65. Made in 1960's. Fine, water resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and red decimal scale.

Case: Two-body, polished, lapidated lugs, screw down caseback.

Dial: Silver with applied steel Arabic and dart indexes, guilloché subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute and 12-hour register, inner 1/5th seconds divisions, outermost red decimal scale. Steel baton hands.

Movement: Lemania 2520, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating blued balance spring, index regulator.

A Decimal chronograph is are regular chronograph with an outer scale graduated in 10 base, instead of a tachymeter or a telemeter. This scales were use for lab work or other technical needs. The watch has an incredible dial with great beautiful tritium markers above applied darts and a red decimal scale. Fitted with a Lemania 2520 (of Omega 321 fame), it is an affordable way to acquire  a famous chronograph movement seen in the rarest and most prestigious brands from Patek Philippe to Breguet.
