More about Movado:

Starting in the 1930s, Swiss watchmaker Movado introduced to the market different calendar watches under different names such as  Calendoscope, Calendomatic, Calendolux, Calendoplan including this model the Calendograph. The Calendograph along with the Calendolux was the high end offering of the brand selling at a premium with a better quality case and dial.

The watch were fitted with a in-house ebauche the fame Calibre 475. These watches received great success in Europe and made them known in the USA thanks to advertising.

The above watch has a combination of a gorgeous two tone dial with a Candy apple date indicator which makes it quite rare among Movado triple date which are usually fitted with an arrow pointer.
