More about Ochs und Junior:

Ochs Und Junior was founded in 2006 by Ludwig Oechslin, the man behind some of the most unique manufactured watches, including the Ulysse Nardin Freak model. Oechslin created the brand to be able to produce watches of his own design and interests, which in contrast to the unusual watches he had previously designed, were remarkably simplified. An annual calendar knows the number of days in every month except for February. The date therefore only needs adjustment once per year on March 1st. Annual calendars are generally executed with levers and springs using a large number of parts such as Patek Philippe which uses 154 parts while Oeschslin uses only 5.

The watch is basically entirely made of brass except for the case and buckle, and the leather strap. There is no added color and a high-contrast dial from a single material . The dial, date disks, and hands are all executed in brass. The second hand is in brass like the dial, so that the time is immediately visible when you glance at your watch. The dial glows and change colors depending on the angle of view and the luminosity, and this creates a very unique watch.
