More about Patek Philippe:

In 1952 Patek Philippe introduced the reference 2525, and production lasted approximately ten years. The model housed either the caliber 10-200, such as the present example, or the caliber 12-400. The caliber 10-200 was developed in 1946, and used for over twenty years. It was used in cases of all shapes (round, square, rectangular) and the cases or lugs were often of a charismatic or unusual design.

The reference 2525-1 was mostly produced in yellow gold, with some examples cased in pink gold, such as the present watch. With a stepped bezel and lugs, the 2525-1 is refined and elegant, yet offers something a little different than the standard “Calatrava” case design. The present example is in excellent condition, with visible hallmarks on the side of the lugs and a crisp case.
