More about Vacheron Constantin:

Introduced in 2008 the Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Chronograph became an instant classic. The watch which along with its bigger brother; the Perpetual Chronograph are the two most important watches within the Vacheron Constantin core collection.

The watch is fitted with the  caliber 1141 which is based on Lemania Cal CH 27 (now Manufacture Breguet). A tried and tested movement whose design and development began in the 1940's and originally used by Tissot and Omega and first used in the Chronographe Historique of the early 1990's. An extremely high end movement certainly one of the most beautiful chronograph movements currently available. The same movement was used by Patek Philippe for the 3970, 5070, and 5970. Today, it is solely used by Vacheron Constantin and Breguet.

The two tone dial with its 5 different finishes from creme, to silver and gray is  extremely elegant especially with the touch of blue from the tachometer scale which adds some color. Even though it is inspired by the dials of vintage watches from the 1940's, the Patrimony dial has a comtemporary touch which sets it perfectly for the modern collector.
