Dial: Time displayed by two rotating discs with indicator at crown. Green disc shows hours and black disc shows minutes.
Movement: Self-winding, modified Miyota caliber 821A. Power reserve of 60 hours.

M.A.D. stands for "Mechanical Art Devices," and has debuted at least three variants of the M.A.D. 1 wristwatch since 2021.
The present timepiece is one such limited edition and a collaboration between M.A.D.Editions and the French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. The watch utilizes the bright, primary colors that characterize de Castelbajac's designs. The rotor, on the watch's dial, takes the form of three wings and the crown has been customized to depict an angel talking to the moon, another de Castelbajac calling card.
