A fine, rare, limited-edition stainless steel chronograph with perpetual calendar and moonphase made to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Jeweler Wempe. Circa 2003.
Case: 316 L Stainless steel. Polished and brushed finishing. Concave lugs, screwed down case back and winding crown. Sapphire crystal. Limited edition engraving. Closed caseback.
Bracelet: Dark green suede. Original IWC stainless steel folding clasp with signature.
Dial: Black with luminous baton and triangular indexes. Arabic numerals. Subsidiary dials for the seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute registers, days of the month (German), week, moon phase aperture. Four-digit year display until 2499. Luminous hands.
Movement: Automatic caliber 79261. 39 hewers, Straight-line lever escapement. Monometallic balance. Shock absorber. Hacking mechanism. Date, day, month, perpetual calendar, ear indicator, chronograph.
Diameter: 42mm. Thickness: 16mm.
Condition: Excellent condition. Accompanied by an original IWC watch case in black leather. Repaired by IWC in 2021.
