More about Omega:
Introduced in 2004 "Mars to the Moon" is a limited production, the watch was retired when it reached a total production of 1300 pieces rather than a predetermined production like a Limited Edition.
The "from the Moon to Mars" is a rather unique Speedmaster because none of its subdials is the same color and each identifies a specific planet or moon. The second counter at 9 is Earth, the chronograph hour counter at 6 is the moon and the planet Mars is the Chronograph minute counter.
The watch has an important cult following; it symbolizes mankind's next frontier which is the exploration of Mars. It was introduced when a few remarks by then President George W. Bush, private companies had expressed interest in reaching the red planet.
The watch is in mint condition and complete. A great first step into collecting rare limited Omega Speedmasters.
