More about Panerai:
In 2011, Panerai released the PAM356, a Luminor Daylight model with chronograph and date. It was well received by the watch community, for its appealing dial design with luminous material that was darkened to achieve a “patinated” look, and for its ease of use. The chronograph pushers are integrated into the crown guard, and a date corrector is in the left band for quickly changing the date.
In 1995 while filming the movie “Daylight” in Rome, Sylvester Stallone purchased a vintage Panerai Luminor. He wore the watch during filming, exposing a new audience to Panerai watches. Stallone liked the watch so much, he also went on to produce a series of watches with the brand. The brand’s “Daylight” series are named after the film, which increased demand for both the brand and the Luminor series. While the dial design has a more vintage feel, similar to the original model, the brushed stainless steel case and protected crown give the watch a contemporary and sporty feel.
