More about Patek Philippe:
The Patek Philippe Aquanaut was launched in 1997, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The watch was first introduced as a limited production but was hugely successful but also controversial like its predecessor the Nautilus. It is a model of casual elegance that combines similarity with the 3800.
Its fascinating appeal originates from a surprisingly modern form with a gently rounded octagonal shape. The surface structure of the landmark dial reflects the attractive texture of the tropical rubber strap. The complex construction of the case is underscored by the screw-down crown for extra protection on the wrist of active people. The “Tropical” strap, made of a high-tech composite, is soft, comfortable, resistant and hypoallergenic and the bracelet gives it a very different sporty look.
The Aquanaut is no longer available with a bracelet. This 5065/1A is a great purchase at this price point and given the NOS condition of the watch.
